Welcoming and Orientation

Before deciding on the Degree Course to enroll in, you can meet the Rector´s Delegate for initiatives concerning students with disabilities and vulnerable groups and possibly the Delegate for orientation to Degree Programs. Together, we can evaluate the most appropriate and convenient university pathway for you, while also taking future career prospects into account. We can provide information on subsidies and technical and didactic tools, suitable interventions for your needs, and the possibility of an individual study plan, to help you achieve your goals.

 

Admission and enrollment

In order to be admitted to a Degree Course, you must have a high school diploma, obtained after 5 years of study. Certificates or attendance certificates from Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) are not valid for enrollment at the university.

 

Invalidity rating equal to or superior to 66% and/or according to law 104/92

With a certification of invalidity equal to or superior to 66% and/or under law 104/92, released by the Local Health Authorit (ASL), you have the right to be totally exempted from paying university fees (you only pay regional taxes and fees) and you can request the services we offer. At the time of enrollment, fill out the Declaration of Invalidity Equal to or Greater Than 66%" and/or "Recognition of Disability" under Law 104/92 - Request for full exemption from fees form (module A23).

 

Invalidity rating inferior to 66%

With an invalidity rating below 66%, you can still contact us, and we will evaluate together which services we can offer you. At the time of enrollment, fill out  the Declaration of Invalidity Below 66% form (module A38-5).

 

Students who are children of people that are recipients of a disability pension established from the art. 12 of the Law 118/71, as provided for by art. 30 of the same law

These have the right to total exemption from university fees and contributions and can enroll by only paying regional fees and virtual stamp duties. To obtain the exemption, you must fill in an A56 form of self-certification Dichiarazione per studenti figli dei beneficiari della pensione di inabilità (Law N. 118/71), which must be sent to protocollo@unipr.it.

 

Special Commission

You can request a total or partial exemption from university fees from the Special Commission, in the event of temporary or permanent financial difficulties. If you visit us, we will evaluate together the suitability of the request and fill out the application. 

 

Health Care Professions

Degree Courses in the field of health care have a limited number of places. If you choose one of these Degree Courses, which requires a selection exam, fill out the Declaration of Invalidity Equal to or Greater than 66%" and/or "Recognition of Disability" under Law 104/92 - Request in function of the selection exam in health care professions (Module A38-2) to request further details about the selection exam. 

 

Degree courses with a limited number of places

Other degree Courses have a limited number of places, so it is necessary for the purpose of enrollment, to pass a selection exam. If you have a certified disability equal or superior to 66% and decide to enroll in one of these Courses, you can fill out the Declaration of Invalidity Equal to or Greater than 66%" and/or "Recognition of Disability" under Law 104/92 - Request in function of the selection exam for nationally limited admission degree courses (Module A38-1) to request further details about the selection exam.

 

Degree Programs with a limited number of places

For some degree programs, admission is based on chronological order and merit evaluation based on the candidates’ high school diploma grades.

 

Professional Qualifications

If you decide to take the professional qualification exam, fill out the A38-4 form: Declaration of disability equal to or greater than 66% and/or recognition of handicap" under the law 104/92 - Request to participate in a professional qualification exam
